Nadja’s 2008 album Desire In Uneasiness, originally released on CD by Crucial Blast, has finally seen a vinyl release care of Dirter Promotions. For the vinyl, the audio was re-mixed and -mastered and our good friend Reverend Aitor (who did the original CD artwork) made brand new art for the gatefold vinyl sleeve:

Two new LP side-project releases from are out now: Caudal’s EP Let’s All Take The Yellow Pills and Hypnodrone Ensemble’s second studio-recorded album (in which the group expands to a nontet), Plays Orchestral Favourites.

Hypnodrone Ensemble will be having a release party for the album in Berlin on November 3 at Zukunft Am Ostkreuz – more info here.

The latest album from Caudal, the ‘trancepunk’ trio with Aidan Baker’s on guitar, Fight Cry Fight, is out now on LP from the UK label Drone Rock Records and cassette from the US label Katuktu Collective. Both versions are available in the BSP webshop or digitally below:

In performance news, Aidan Baker will be playing support for two shows with Godspeed You Black Emperor’s violinist Jessica Moss this week and, later next month, a first live performance of his duo project with Gareth Davis following on the release of their collaborative album Invisible Cities on Karlrecords:

Skin Written On Glass

Nadja’s older albums Autopergamene and Skin Turns To Glass, previously only available on CD, have now seen vinyl release via Spain’s Throne Records.

There are three versions of both albums — regular black and special editions of white and splatter vinyl. Both albums have new artwork and have been re-mixed and -worked (Skin Turns To Glass even re-recorded, in parts) specifically for these vinyl releases. We have copies of all three editions available in the BSP webshop and digitally here:

In release news, there will be a new Aidan Baker album, Delirious Things, with guest vocals from Claire Brentnall of Shield Patterns, out at the end of the month on Pleasence Records (LP) and Gizeh Records (CD). Here is a video of the title track:

Also this month, Land Animal Tapes will be releasing two cassettes, one a Caudal EP, Slope/Land, and the other a collaboration between Aidan Baker and Dutch noise-jazz duo Lärmschutz . Pre-order options for both releases can be found on the Land Animal Tapes bandcamp page, but copies will be available directly from the BSP Webshop soon.
