The brand new Nadja album Sv from Brazilian label Essence Music is out now and available digitally from our bandcamp page and physically in the BSP webshop:

This CD-only release is packaged in a 6-panel digisleeve, with artwork by Seldon Hunt and mastering by James Plotkin.

Also in new release news, Aidan has a new limited cassette release from Manyfeetunder, Synth Studies II, a collection of ambient/drone pieces created with synth alone:

Fantasies, Plagues…

Back in 2011 Aidan Baker released a limited LP, Plague of Fantasies, with Blackest Rainbow Records. This album was supposed to have a companion LP, Sorry For What I Said To You In Your Dream, which ended not being released…so, we have made it (along with Plague of Fantasies) available digitally on the BSP bandcamp page as a ‘buy now/pay-what-you-can’ release:

Both of these albums were originally recorded on cassette 4-track back in 2005 (around the same time as Lost In The Rat Maze, released on CD by Consouling Sounds) and digitally re-worked/-mixed/-mastered in 2010. For anyone interested in comparing, some of those earlier, 2005 versions of these tracks are available digitally now on Aidan’s bandcamp:

In touring news, things are quite busy in the next two months, as we jaunt around the European continent:

Post-Incubate Festival residency and there are a number of new releases from our friends at Consouling Sounds:

Nadja’s performance at Incubate on Monday September 15 was recorded, mastered, pressed to vinyl, and released on Saturday September 20…somewhat blindly (or ‘deafly,’ so to speak) in that we didn’t get to hear the mix or the master before the looming production deadlines. The LP+CD set, available here is limited to 300 copies and features artwork by Stefan Serneels (whose work you might recognize from our album The Bungled & The Botched).

Also available: Aidan Baker / thisquietarmy Hypnodrone Ensemble recorded live at NK in Berlin on May 2, 2014, featuring the two afore-mentioned guitarists with the three drummers Felipe Salazar, Jeremie Mortier, and David Dunnett. Available on CD here and digitally below:

Lastly, Caudal’s second full-length album Ascension is now available on CD, limited LP, or digital:

Caudal will also be playing a few shows this week, along with thisquietarmy, in support of the new album:

24-09-14: Jaegerklause, Berlin, DE
26-09-14: Glashaus, Bayreuth, DE
27-09-14: Contain’t, Stuttgart, DE
